Cultivating A Success Mindset (CASM)
Are you a young person looking for guidance and support with discovering and pursuing your personal vision? Or, are you a parent, educator or activist who would like to partner your child, learners or youth groups with a significant other towards the same goal? Cultivating a Success Mindset (CASM) is for you. CASM is an Empowerment Programme that cultivates practical ways to translate dreams into desired futures. Its focal areas include critical thinking and storytelling skills. Youths who enrol for CASM are guaranteed help with creating a tangible, personal vision of the future they desire for themselves and empowerment to pursue the vision.

Awakening the Performer Within (APW)—Team cohesiveness (a stand-alone offering for teams)
Awakening the Performer Within (APW) is a context-specific stand-alone offering for teams to bring about and/or improve team cohesiveness. ONE SIZE FITS ALL is a thoughtless uninformed claim that went out of fashion from day one. CONNECTION BEFORE CONTENT is more like it for us. Our belief in this factual reality is seen in our conviction-based practice that marks the commencement of work with any team, anywhere, premised from bewilderment and curiosity, hence a culture shift survey that is influenced by our belief in deep democracy becomes our first move. The kind of assessment that we do establishes where each team is at, their health and pain points. On the basis of the results of the assessment, we draft a proposed implementation plan and present for acceptance. Upon acceptance we implement the plan over a recommended period of between 18 and 36 months, to ensure that we work effectively with the teams.

Re-Invigorating All-Time Nation-Builders—Educators (RANBE)
Do you need to build a leadership team that will facilitate ongoing improvement? We have just the programme for practitioners in environments where attainment of learning outcomes remains an ideal. We help them realise these through two focal areas, namely—Leading for Learning and Teamwork. These two overarching themes are essential building blocks for starting the journey of change and improvement in schools. RANBE covers three most important stakeholder groups—the SMT, educators and the learners—and support teams inside of the school. The programme focuses on Leading for Learning (that is, instructional leadership) for the SMT members; and Team Cohesiveness for educators. We highly recommend coupling of the Team Cohesiveness component with Team Coaching, for more effectiveness.

We were able to grow as a team and as individuals. The support and coaching received from Andile as our Leader cannot be quantified. There were Oprah’s “AHA Moments” moments during the programme where I got to learn more about myself and leadership style. I have learned to listen more to others and give each person a fair chance. This is something I have been struggling with, both personally and professionally but was not aware of it and its impact on others.
I have used the teachings of this programme in both my personal and professional life. For example, at work, I have been able to secure a significant discount on a multiyear /multimillion-rand contract with one of our key suppliers. I made use of the contracting and negotiation techniques gained in the programme. Further, I have been able to build a strong team where each person has a voice. When I started at my current job, while still in the programme, my unit was not a unit. My team was not a team. It was just a group of individuals with no shared value or purpose working in silos.
Moving to the personal front, I am now a more present parent and partner. I make sure I give my full attention to my home life and babies when at home and not be distracted by work or the phone. I can attribute all of this to the PfP programme. It is personal mastery and self-awareness at its best. I will forever be grateful that I was introduced to such a pragramme.

Andile Kwakweni has been contracted to provide coaching and facilitation services to SEED Educational Trust since the beginning of 2015. Most of this work has involved one on one coaching and group coaching of school principals and school management teams as well as District officials. During 2019 he has provided coaching to Circuit Managers throughout the Eastern Cape as part of the School Coaching and Mentoring Programme which SEED is rolling out. This programme is a one year programme which is accredited by the University of Stellenbosch Business School Executive Development (USB-ED) and each circuit manager receives 2 sessions of coaching.
Andile has also assisted in the facilitation of team building processes for both District and school groups. He has shown himself to be both competent and committed and can be relied upon to deliver services on time with quality.
