Re-invigorating All-Time Nation-Builders—Educators (RANBE)

Do you need to build a leadership team that will facilitate ongoing improvement? We have just the programme for practitioners in environments where attainment of learning outcomes remains an ideal. We help them realise these through two focal areas, namely—Leading for Learning and Teamwork. These two overarching themes are essential building blocks for starting the journey of change and improvement in schools.

RANBE covers three most important stakeholder groups—the SMT, educators and the learners—and support teams inside of the school. The programme focuses on Leading for Learning (that is, instructional leadership) for the SMT members; and Team Cohesiveness for educators. We highly recommend coupling of the Team Cohesiveness component with Team Coaching, for more effectiveness.

The key features of the programme are outlined below:

  • Leading for Learning (LfL)this is the most important component of the programme. It starts with developing an understanding and focus on the importance of leading in order to strengthen and improve teaching and learning in the school. This is what is commonly referred to as “instructional leadership.” This component explores the role of the SMT members in developing a vision of success for their school, and connecting the vision to the mission and values of the school. This will be followed by a session on teamwork (referred to as RANBE) in the school, connecting it to building a culture of care and collaboration that supports the well-being and academic development of learners.
  • Re-invigorating All-Time Nation Builders – Educators (RANBE) involves a Team Cohesiveness Workshop and Team Coaching that focus on alignment of teaching and non-teaching teams with the school vision, mission and values, as well as on re-ignition of performance and team culture. An inclusive approach (involving Principal, Deputy Principal(s), SMT, Grade Heads, Post Level 1 educators, administrators, and other non-teaching staff) is recommended, with specific focus on up to three priorities and specific outcomes, for high impact.
  • Supervision Best Practices (SBP) – In the next SMT session, there will be a focus on the role of supervision as part of curriculum management, especially in supporting and improving the practice of teaching.
  • Head-On With Curriculum Coverage (HCC). The last SMT session will focus on curriculum coverage challenges during COVID-19 and identify a cycle for supporting curriculum coverage practices; developing a daily teaching workplan; and using assessment to support learning and make decisions for when to move on to the next topic.

Cultivating A Success Mindset (CASM)

Are you a young person looking for guidance and support with discovering or pursuing your personal vision? Or, are you a parent or educator who would like to partner your child or learners with a significant other towards the same goal?

Cultivating a Success Mindset (CASM)is for you. CASM is an extracurricular Learner Development Programme that cultivates practical ways to translate dreams into desired futures. Its focal areas include critical thinking and storytelling skills.

Learners who enroll for CASM are guaranteed help to create a tangible, personal vision of the future they desire for themselves.

Awakening the Performer Within (APW)—Team cohesiveness (a stand-alone offering for teams)

One size fits all is a thoughtless uninformed claim that went out of fashion from day one. Our understanding of this factual reality is seen in our conviction that the best starting point to working with any team, anywhere, is bewilderment, hence a team assessment influenced by our belief in deep democracy becomes our next move. The kind of assessment we do establishes health and pain points of teams. Upon the basis of the results of the assessment, a proposed implementation plan is drafted and upon approval implemented. The recommended period to work effectively with a team is between 12 and 36 months.
